An Amazing Buffalo Chicken Pizza
I went to a pizza place (I’m not gonna name names) and ordered a buffalo chicken pizza. Usually the pizzas are really good there, but this one was some shredded chicken, raw celery and blue cheese. I was dissapointed to say the least. So I did what I do best, and created my own version. My version has celery, red onion, bell pepper, blue cheese, homemade buffalo sauce and ranch dressing. This buffalo ranch pizza is full of flavor and you won’t regret trying it.
Here’s why I love Buffalo Chicken Pizza!
- I make my own buffalo sauce with a few ingredients and less than 10 minutes.
- I have a great recipe for pizza dough that you should use. Good dough makes a huge difference.
If you like this Buffalo Chicken Pizza as much as we do, try Spinach Artichoke Chicken Pizza and Mediterranean Chicken Pizza (probably my favorite). If you want a twist on classic pizza, these Pizza Sliders are the bomb diggity (Does anyone say that anymore? Am I showing my age?).
Visual Process for Making Buffalo Chicken Pizza
Step 1
Coat Chicken in Buffalo Sauce
I make my buffalo sauce from scratch, so once it’s ready, I add the chicken and let it marinate while I prepare everything else.
Step 2
Sauté Vegetables
This step is optional but highly recommended. If you don’t, the celery will be crunchy and in my humble opinion that ruins the pizza.
Step 3
Shape the Dough
You should use my pizza dough recipe, because its the best. In this step we will shape the dough so its ready to host some amazing toppings.
Step 4
Layer the Toppings
Add the toppings to the pizza. You can put the mozzarella on the bottom or the top, its up to you.
Step 5
Bake
We will bake the pizza at 475℉ for around 13 minutes. You want the crust done (A pizza stone helps with that) and the cheese melted but not burnt.
Step 6
Slice and Serve
Let it cool for a few minutes so it doesn’t burn your mouth. Then slice it up and serve it!
