Honey Ham Sliders with Gruyere
Ham drizzled with sweet smelling honey, melty gruyere cheese and fresh dijonnaise. These sliders taste amazing and are super easy to whip up!
When I was a kid sliders where called White Castle burgers. Sliders began as tiny hamburgers and quickly morphed into the versatile meal choice we think of today. From pizza sliders, to ham and cheese or chicken, it seems there isn’t any sandwich that can be made into a tinier version. These Honey Ham Sliders with Gruyere are my own version of this tiny sandwich.

Ingredients for Honey Ham Sliders with Gruyere
Let’s talk about the ingredients that make these Honey Ham Sliders with Gruyere so irresistible! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Slider Buns: Start with soft, fluffy slider buns that provide the perfect vessel for your delicious fillings. They’re great for holding all those flavors together and are easy to manage!
- Dijonnaise: This delightful combination of Dijon mustard and mayonnaise adds a creamy, zesty kick that complements the sweetness of the honey and the savory ham. It’s the secret ingredient that brings everything to life!
- Swiss Cheese: Six slices of Swiss cheese melt beautifully, adding a mild, nutty flavor that pairs perfectly with the other ingredients. You can’t go wrong with this classic choice!
- Ham: Opt for 8-10 slices of your favorite ham, whether it’s honey-glazed, smoked, or black forest. The ham provides a delicious saltiness that balances the sweetness of the honey.
- Honey: Just a touch of honey elevates the flavor profile, creating a delightful sweet and savory experience that makes each bite irresistible.
- Shredded Gruyere: This rich, creamy cheese adds a luxurious texture and a slightly nutty flavor to your sliders. It melts perfectly and is sure to impress!
- Large Egg: A slightly beaten egg helps bind the ingredients together, ensuring that everything stays put in your slider.
- Sesame Seeds: For a little extra crunch and visual appeal, sprinkle sesame seeds on top of the slider buns. They add a delightful nutty flavor and make your sliders look extra appetizing!
