Tartar Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1 scallion (chopped)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 shallot
- 1 tablespoon capers
- 2 tablespoon dill pickles
- â…™ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- ½ teaspoon tarragon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (one lemon worth)
- salt
Instructions
- Combine 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, 1 scallion, 1 garlic clove, 1 shallot, 1 tablespoon capers, 2 tablespoon dill pickles, ⅙ teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon parsley, and ½ teaspoon tarragon, in bowl and stir until thoroughly combined. Add 2 tablespoons lemon juice and stir. Season with salt.
- Cover and chill (preferably overnight) to allow the flavors to blend. Serve with breaded fish and a side salad.
