Move Over Salt & Pepper—This Potato Seasoning is the Real MVP

Tarragon is one of those under-the-radar herbs that totally surprised me. I only recently started using it, and now I’m obsessed. It’s got this slightly sweet, almost anise-like flavor that somehow makes everything taste a little more gourmet. It brightens up dishes in the most unexpected way—especially in this potato seasoning, where it adds a whisper of elegance that plays so well with the dill and vinegar. If you haven’t cooked with tarragon yet, you’re in for a treat.

This bold and zesty potato seasoning blend is like a flavor party in a jar. Dried dill brings a fresh, grassy brightness that cuts through rich roasted spuds, while the savory duo of garlic and onion powder adds that classic allium punch we all crave. Tomato powder sneaks in with a tangy umami vibe, giving the mix depth and just a whisper of sweetness. Paprika and black pepper layer on gentle warmth, while a pinch of cayenne adds a subtle kick that builds without overwhelming.

Tarragon brings a hint of licoricey magic—unexpected but totally addictive. And to tie it all together? A splash of apple cider vinegar, giving the whole thing a salty-tangy edge that keeps your taste buds on their toes. This potato seasoning isn’t just for roasted potatoes—it’s perfect for smashed potatoes, fries, veggies, or even stirred into sour cream for a dip that slaps. Once you try it, you’ll want this potato seasoning in your regular rotation.
