👩‍🍳 Smoked Salmon and Shrimp Cheese Bake: A Creamy, Flavorful Seafood Dip

Anyone who knows me knows I’m all about the sea, the Caribbean, and Florida. My husband and I are practically obsessed with the idea of one day sailing there, fishing for our meals, and living that coastal dream. Naturally, seafood dishes hold a special place in my heart, and smoked salmon? It’s one of my faves. This seafood dip? It’s everything I love in a bite.

Imagine this: succulent shrimp, smoky salmon, and tender fish, all blended into a velvety mix with cream cheese and a medley of cheeses that’s so creamy it practically melts in your mouth. Add a little kick from cayenne pepper and the sweet punch of blistered pimientos, and every bite is bursting with flavor. Whether you’re throwing a cozy gathering or just craving something ridiculously delicious, this Baked Seafood Dip will have everyone coming back for more.

Top it all off by baking it until it’s hot and bubbly, then serve with crunchy toast points, veggies, or crackers. Trust me, this seafood dip sensation is one you won’t want to miss.

Notes
Pop it under the broiler for a few minutes to brown it up and create a top crust — it adds so much flavor.
Substitutions
I like to also add in some roasted red peppers. The kind that come in the jar. Chop them up and throw them in also for a little extra sweet flavor.
Want it hotter? Stir ½ to 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes into the seafood filling. It’ll give you a nice, steady heat without overpowering the creamy cheese flavor.
Fish Options:
  • Tilapia (great choice — mild, easy to find, and cooks quickly)
  • Cod (flaky, clean flavor, very classic)
  • Haddock (a little sweeter than cod, very tender)
Storage
Cool completely, then store any leftover seafood stuffing in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F until warmed through to keep the outside crispy and the filling creamy.

Serving Suggestions

This Seafood Cheese Bake dip is so good, you’ll be dipping until the very last bite! For a simple and tasty combo, serve it with lightly toasted bread or baguette slices, brushed with olive oil or butter to give it a little extra flavor. Crackers—whether buttery or whole grain—add the perfect crunch to complement all that creamy, cheesy goodness. If you want something fresh and crunchy, veggie sticks like carrots, celery, bell peppers, and cucumber are the way to go, offering a nice contrast to the richness of the dip.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more satisfying, ridged potato chips are your best friend—they’re sturdy enough to scoop up every bit of seafood and cheese. Pita chips bring a nice crunch and a touch of saltiness that pairs perfectly with the dip. And don’t forget the breadsticks—whether soft or crispy, they’re an excellent way to scoop up every last drop. Whether you’re making it for a relaxed evening or a snack for two, these sides make the dip even more enjoyable!
